The End of This Blog?

As this quarter draws to a end we would like to take a step back and review our work. My partner, Mary C and I have had the topic education. It was a very hard topic to get posts on or find things about it. Even after all that, we managed to pull through and actually get some pretty good posts. We posted about politics, schools, conducted a interview, and many other things that reflected our workmanship. We tried our best and because of that we did pretty awesomely. We are looking forward to the future of this blog and we hope it takes a exciting path, thank you for reading.

First Marking Period Overview

Over the course of the first marking period, my partner, Shyanne C and I have posted about various things having to do with education. Really, we want to post about things that would be helpful for our high school readers; study tips, ACT tips, and things that pertain to YOU. There is always something going on in education news. We have tried to keep a balance of tips with factual news within these posts, and hopefully, they were helpful and informative for our readers. Next marking period, we will have more posts more frequently, and I am looking forward to see where this blog will go! Practice ACT is coming up, a second round of SRI, and graduation for seniors draws closer and closer every day. Keep up the grades everyone and KEEP READING OUR BLOG!

Semester Grades and Exams at Wyoming High

This year, we are having semester grades rather than quarter marking period grades. 45% of our semester grade will be the first marking period average, 45% of our semester grade will be the second marking period average, and 10% of our grade will be the exam grade.
Exams are completely new to Wyoming High students, never having exams before in middle school or high school. Hopefully, exams will help prepare us for college, and the study skills that we need will be gained because of the addition of exams in the semester grades. I mean, no one really wants exams, but in the long run, they will probably be a lot of help...

What do you think?
Are exams a good addition to the school this year?
