BE AT SCHOOL ON OCTOBER 3! IT'S COUNT DAY!

Count day is when all public schools (by state) take a count of all the students present during that day. Based on the number of students who are present, the more state funding is provided for that school's education system. Each student is "worth" about $6,846! Last year, the count for Wyoming Public Schools dropped to 4,696 students - a 138 student drop. Hopefully, the High School consolidation will increase our student numbers, and also increase our state funding. The Fall Count on October 3 will account for 90% of the funding for the 2012-2013 school year. BE AT SCHOOL.
