- Typically, juniors across the nation are all reequired to take the ACT Test
- The ACT questions are much more straightforward
- The ACT consists of 5 parts - English, Mathematics, Reading, Science, and Writing
- Merit-Based Test
- 0-36 point scale
- If you plan on attending a college outside of your home state, the SAT is highly recommended
- The SAT focuses on vocabulary more than anything else
- The SAT does not have a science section
- The SAT consists of three parts - Critical Reading, Writing, and Mathematics - but there are multiple parts in EACH of these parts
- Aptitude Test
- The scores from each section can range from 200 to 800, so the best possible total score is 2400.
